Why Natural Pain Relief?

Why Natural Pain Relief?

Throughout the millennia, human beings have existed reciprocally alongside the plant kingdom, whether it be via the exchange of oxygen/CO2 or our mutual growth cycles.

The human body has evolved to work harmoniously with local flora, whether it be for nutrition purposes or receiving health-giving benefits.

Since time immemorial, our ancestors understood and passed on life-enhancing knowledge and wisdom relating to the healing properties of plants and herbs. This was often undertaken via rites and rituals and involved intensive training, often via familial or pre-selected bloodlines. These highly respected and revered individuals were commonly referred to as healers, shaman, medicine men/women, priestesses/priests, witches and wise women.

X-ZONE products draw strongly on this tradition of plant-healing wisdom. We utilise high potency blends of traditional herbal ingredients with proven pain-relief and restorative qualities, enabling the targeting of high pain thresholds, while simultaneously working alongside our body's natural systems. We receive regular feedback about our product's ability to effectively relieve pain, even from customers who exhibit high skin sensitivity.

Often the benefits derived from X-ZONE herbal ingredients are multi-faceted. Not only are they powerful analgesics, they also provide restorative properties for our muscles and skin. While we don't advise the following, we regularly receive feedback from customers who have successfully used our products for after-sun moisturising and relief from sunburn, insect bites, itches and rashes.

A selection of herbal ingredients used in X-ZONE:

St Johns Wort (Hypericum perforatum): an age-old herbal relief especially effective for bruising, and when applied topically works as an anti-inflammatory.

Menthol (Mentha piperata): provides a cooling action to the skin and helps reduce swelling.

Spearmint (Mentha spicata): known for its numerous medicinal purposes and its ability to invigorate the senses.

Arnica (Arnica Montana): provides pain relief, quickly reduces bruising and promotes the healing process.

Clove (Caryophyllus): a natural antiseptic and pain reliever.

Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana): contains procyanadins, resin, and flavonoids, all of which provide soothing, anti-inflammatory properties.

Ginger (Zingiber): helps improve blood flow, has anti-inflammatory properties and is a powerful, natural analgesic.

Cayenne (Capsicum Annum): invigorates blood vessels and helps body cells to receive the blood they need to heal.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia): best known for its soothing and calming properties, although it is also associated with burns and skin repair. It has antiseptic and analgesic properties, as well as cytophylactic properties that promote healing.

Cocoa Butter: a wonderful skin moisturiser. It melts at body temperature and assists with the absorption of active ingredients into the affected areas.
